Ein Verkehrszeichen ist ein standardisiertes visuelles Zeichen entlang einer Straße, das Fahrer, Radfahrer und Fußgänger leitet, warnt oder ihr Verhalten regelt. Verkehrszeichen vermitteln wichtige Informationen über Straßenverhältnisse, Vorschriften, Richtungen und mögliche Gefahren und tragen damit zu Sicherheit und einem geordneten Verkehrsablauf bei. Sie besitzen unterschiedliche Formen und Farben, etwa dreieckige Warnzeichen, runde Verbots- oder Gebotszeichen und rechteckige Hinweiszeichen, die jeweils auf schnelle Erkennbarkeit und eindeutiges Verständnis ausgelegt sind.

Ist eine vorübergehende Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung an Baustellen in Griechenland verbindlich?
Eine geltende befugt angeordnete vorübergehende Höchstgeschwindigkeit ist einzuhalten. Eine Baustellenwarnung allein ist keine neue zahlenmäßige Grenze; die Bedingungen können trotzdem langsameres Fahren verlangen.
