Traffic rules

The traffic regulations describe how a road user must behave on public roads, so that traffic flows safely and smoothly. It is expected that all road users know and apply the traffic regulations. Sometimes traffic regulations will appear a bit unclear. However, all rules in the regulations have been well thought through, so it is also important to know the underlying line of thought.


Road users

Drivers

A driver is someone who drives a vehicle. Anyone who drives a vehicle or guides, or guards, towing, loading and riding animals or cattle.


Pedestrians

A pedestrian is a road user who travels on foot in traffic.


Cyclists

A cyclist is a road user who moves with the bicycle in traffic.


Motors

A motorcyclist is a road user who moves with the motor in traffic.


Cars

Cars are road users who travel by car in traffic.


Buses

A bus is a vehicle intended for the transportation of people.


Trains

A train is a railway vehicle intended for the transportation of people.


Trams

A train is a railway vehicle intended for the transportation of people.


Caravans

A caravan is a vehicle in which you can stay overnight.


Trailers

Every vehicle intended to be propelled by another.


Priority vehicles

Prioritaire voertuigen hebben een blauw zwaailicht en een specifiek geluidssignaal. De bekendste zijn politievoertuigen, ambulances en brandweerwagens.


Police

The police is a government agency charged with maintaining public order and security, tracking down and investigating criminal offenses, providing direct assistance and carrying out detentions.


Ambulance

An ambulance is used to transport emergency services to a place where urgent help is needed and to transport victims or patients to the hospital.


Fire department

A fire truck is a vehicle that the fire service uses in the event of a fire or an accident.


Siren

A siren is a sound signal that priority vehicles use to warn other road users that they have to pass.

The English is not good on this site and can be misleading. It is important to proof read so that any errors are removed to avoid ambiguity

So many mistakes in the theory and practice test. Most of the important theoretical information is missing. Tests are complete mess: some questions are untranslated, have spelling mistakes and even incorrect 'correct' answers. What a waste of money..

Hi, Paid 20 euros for 10 days and went through almost every question you have in your bank but there were not more than 4 questions that came in the test. You really need to update your questions.
