Traffic rules

The traffic regulations describe how a road user must behave on public roads, so that traffic flows safely and smoothly. It is expected that all road users know and apply the traffic regulations. Sometimes traffic regulations will appear a bit unclear. However, all rules in the regulations have been well thought through, so it is also important to know the underlying line of thought.

Driving

Driving

Driving is a very complex skill, because you often have to perform with different actions at the same time. Here you will find the basis for safe driving.

Local traffic

The vehicles of the residents and their visitors, the vehicles for delivery included.

Traffic conductor

A device installed on the carriageway and intended to channel vehicles traffic. The traffic conductor consists of a road marking, either from an elevation on the carriageway or from both elements together.

Guardrail

A guard rail or crash barrier is a barrier placed next to roads to prevent vehicles from leaving the road in a lateral direction, tilting or traversing the central reservation. This reduces injury to occupants and damage to the car as much as possible.

Barriers

A barrier is a closing mechanism that serves to control the use of a passage or access. Other names that are used are barrier, lever and barel. There are both hand-operated barriers and barriers that are moved by means of a drive.

Low emission zone

A zone in which a selective admission policy for motor vehicles is used in relation to the environmental nuisance caused by these vehicles because of the quality of life, in particular the environmental and health problems caused by poor air quality.

Residents card

A municipal parking card specifically intended for persons who have their main residence or domicile in the municipality, zone or street indicated on the map.

Q24. What happens to the rpm of the engine when you shift a gear down? this answer you gave of RPM increase is wrong, you worded the question " when you shift a gear down" you have to take your foot off the accelerator, then engage the clutch to shift down, during this shift time the RPM decreases, your question should not state shift it should say when you engage a lower gear, only when the lower gear is selected will the RPM of the engine increase.
