交通情報ラジオは、渋滞、道路閉鎖、事故、天候など旅程へ影響する情報を運転者へ提供するラジオ放送です。道路標識で交通情報を受信できる放送局と周波数が示されることがあります。
運転者は表示周波数へ合わせて地域の交通情報を受信できます。ただし情報提供サービスであり、交通標識、信号、交通整理員の指示に代わるものではありません。
