道路清掃車は、道路、街路、舗装区域を清掃する特殊車両です。回転ブラシ、吸引装置、散水装置などを使って、ほこり、落ち葉、ごみ、その他の路面異物を除去します。
低速で走行し、停止、位置変更、道路端で作業することがあります。他の道路利用者は慎重に接近し、十分な間隔を保ち、車両周辺の作業員やごみに注意します。
