What should you do when you see the loose-chippings sign in Belgium?

Reduce speed where necessary, increase your following distance and avoid sudden manoeuvres. Drivers must adapt their speed to the road and traffic conditions, including a surface covered with loose stones.

The A17 sign can be used where there is a risk of gravel or small stones being projected from the road surface, for example after certain roadworks or resurfacing treatments.
