1. Tram
A tram is a passenger vehicle that runs on rails, usually along streets or on dedicated tracks within an urban or suburban transport network. Tram tracks may be embedded in the roadway, separated from other traffic or combined with both types of infrastructure along the same route.
Because a tram is guided by rails and cannot steer around obstacles, other road users should take particular care near tram tracks, crossings and stops. Priority and interaction rules differ between countries.
