1. Hostel
A hostel is a type of accommodation that usually offers relatively inexpensive overnight stays, often with shared rooms or communal facilities. Hostels are commonly used by young travellers, backpackers, groups and other visitors looking for simple short-term accommodation.
Hostels may be indicated by tourist or accommodation direction signs. The symbols and terminology used to identify hostels or youth hostels vary between countries.
