An ambulance is used to transport emergency services to a place where urgent help is needed and to transport victims or patients to the hospital.
An automatic transmission, also called auto, self-shifting transmission, n-speed automatic (where n represents its number of forward gear ratios), or AT, is a type of motor vehicle transmission that automatically changes the gear ratio as the vehicle moves, meaning that the driver does not have to shift the gears manually. Like other transmission systems on vehicles, it allows an internal combustion engine, best suited to run at a relatively high rotational speed, to provide a range of speed and torque outputs necessary for vehicular travel. The number of forward gear ratios is often expressed for manual transmissions as well (e.g., 6-speed manual).
Alternate-side parking is a traffic law that dictates on which side of a street cars can be parked on a given day. The law is intended to promote efficient flow of traffic, as well as to allow street sweepers and snowplows to reach the curb without parked cars impeding their progress. Some proponents also regard the law, which can be quite inconvenient for drivers, as a way to encourage the use of public transportation. In many towns and cities, alternate-side parking is reserved for certain times of year, or only used during a snow emergency.
The airbag is inflated very quickly with a collision or heavy impact. The airbag forms a protective cushion and helps the passengers against injuries.
Newer vehicles are usually equipped with an 'Antilock Braking System' (abs). Refer to your vehicle manual for more information on how to use abs. The abs system ensures that you can stop the vehicle without slipping. The abs system comes into operation when you have to stop very quickly and press the brake pedal hard.
Alcohol and driving a vehicle are a very dangerous combination. Alcohol reduces attention, assessment and reaction capacity. A drunk driver is not only a danger to himself, but also to other road users. That is why the police often organize alcohol checks, alcohol intoxication is measurable and punishable from a certain level.

The written test in Spain is designed for failure. I am an FAA examiner with degree in Education and am appalled by this test
Can you help to make it better??
You mean it is too easy?
The English version is all wrong
Really useful, especially with an explanation for incorrect answers. I am learning the Italian Highway Code in English before I have to learn it in Italian for my theory test. Having the option for both languages would be really helpful. It’s been time we’ll spent on this site. Thanks very much
This is super helpful, i have my theory exam today. I practiced this whole test as well as practiced from my islands rule book. Definetly reccomend it, when you're done with your practice test, DOUBLE CHECK your mistakes.
