1. 出口
出口は、道路、高速道路、自動車専用道路など主要路線から交通が離れる指定経路・地点です。高速道路では通常、本線から出口車線やランプへ入り、別道路や目的地へ接続します。
出口へ近づく運転者は方面案内標識と路面表示に従い、早めに適切な車線へ移り、本線交通から離れた後に必要に応じて速度を調整します。
What is a road exit?
An exit is a designated route or point that allows traffic to leave a road, motorway or expressway and continue toward another road or destination.
How should you prepare for an exit?
Check the direction signs, select the correct lane in good time, signal when required and avoid sudden lane changes when approaching the exit.
What should you do if you miss your exit?
Continue safely along the road and use a later exit or another permitted route. Do not stop, reverse or make a dangerous sudden manoeuvre simply to reach an exit you have missed.
