This traffic sign indicates a warning for loose chippings. It alerts drivers to road surfaces covered with loose gravel or stones, which can affect traction and pose a risk of flying debris. Drivers should reduce speed to avoid skidding and keep a safe distance from other vehicles. Be cautious of stone chips that may damage paint or windshields. Common Locations: freshly resurfaced roads, rural or under-maintenance road sections.
Loose chipping in action
This traffic sign indicates a warning for hanging trees. It alerts drivers to low-hanging branches or overhanging trees that may pose a hazard—especially to tall vehicles. Drivers should be aware of limited vertical clearance due to branches. Tall vehicles (e.g., buses, trucks, campers) should be extra cautious.
low tree warningin Germany!
This traffic sign indicates a warning for a bad road surface. It alerts drivers to poor or uneven road conditions ahead. Drivers should slow down and be cautious of potholes, loose gravel, or irregular pavement. Common in: rural roads, construction zones, or temporarily damaged surfaces.
Uneven road warning
This traffic sign indicates a zone where parking is prohibited. It marks start of a zone in which parking is prohibited, typically on all public roads within that zone, until an "end of zone" sign is posted. Stopping temporarily (to pick up or drop off passengers) is still allowed.
Not that good
I think the wording is a bit unlucky. "Warning for cyclists" is wrong. It's a "Warning OF cyclists FOR everybody". I think all those "Warning for X" signs should be "Warning of X" or "Warning against X". And then it's not really as specific as some of them are described. E.g. there's one that says "Warning for deer", which should be "Warning against wildlife crossing". It's not deer, it could be warthogs or boars or foxes as well.
I was wondering what type of exams do the Baltics use? Personally I’d like to see how they work. I’m not old enough for a drivers license yet, but I do very well at these types of exams. Already have a cyclists license, don’t think it’s will be very hard. I do fine with the car symbols, since like kids do they peak at the symbols which are near the spirometer or in it. What do y’all think? Should they add more countries to chose from or no?
شكراً لك، استفدتُ كثيراً من الموقع، ولكن لم أرَ دولاً عربية في قائمة الدول مثل المملكة العربية السعودية والإمارات وقطر والكويت والبحرين ومصر والأردن. Thank you, I benefited a lot from the site, but I did not see Arab countries in the list of countries such as Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt and Jordan.
when you have a wrong answer the next will be counted wrong too no matter if it's right. This could leed to confusion.
Question 83: Poor translation: Vehicles with polluted fluids prohibited Should be translated as: Vehicles with dangerous liquids prohibited
Cool tool! And fun to check whether I remember the rules :) Two things I noticed: Warning for a crossroad side roads on the left and right. While technically that might be the correct translation, this sign tells you, that you are on the main road and have the right of way for the next crossroad and only the next crossroad. Usually (if no sign specifies otherwise) you have to give way to drivers coming from the right at every intersection, which can get a bit annoying in communal areas, so seeing this sign feels less like a warning and more like relief :). A Fahrradstraße is not a lane for cyclists but a street for cyclists, meaning the (whole!) street is intended predominantly for cyclists, who are then allowed to ride next to each other. Cars are allowed to drive there (unless another sign prohibits such), but have to adjust their speed to the cyclists. I believe they are not allowed to pass at all, even if the oncoming lane is empty.
Thank you for providing us with the tests and results as well as explaining each sign.
Hello, upload all questions of theory syllabus, it’s very useful !!! Thank you
