1. Dashboard
The dashboard (also called the instrument panel) is the front panel inside a vehicle, located just behind the steering wheel. It displays important controls and information that help the driver operate the car safely and monitor its performance. The dashboard is your car’s command center, giving you vital info, controls, and alerts while you drive. It's where you see how your car is doing—and what it needs from you. Keep your dashboard clean and dust-free to prevent glare and keep buttons functioning properly
- Instrument Cluster (Main Gauges):
- Speedometer – shows how fast you’re going, tachometer – shows engine RPM (revolutions per minute), fuel gauge – shows how much gas/diesel is left, temperature gauge – shows engine coolant temperature, odometer – total distance the vehicle has traveled, trip meter – tracks mileage for individual trips.
- Warning & Indicator Lights:
- Check engine light, battery warning, oil pressure warning, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), airbag light, seatbelt reminder, low fuel or tire pressure.
- Control Buttons & Features:
- Climate controls (heating, AC, fan speed), Rradio, media, navigation, hazard light button, defroster controls, drive mode selectors (eco, sport, etc.), start/stop button (in keyless vehicles).
