14. Intersección sin regulación

Una intersección sin regulación es un cruce donde la prioridad no está regulada específicamente por semáforos, una persona autorizada o señales que asignen prioridad a determinados accesos. Los conductores deben determinar quién tiene prioridad aplicando las normas generales del país.

La regla aplicable varía entre países y puede ser prioridad por la derecha, prioridad por la izquierda u otra norma general de preferencia. Los conductores deben aproximarse con cuidado, observar el tráfico de todas las direcciones y no suponer que una vía más ancha o concurrida tiene automáticamente prioridad.

An uncontrolled crossroad is an intersection where priority is not specifically assigned by traffic lights, an authorised person or priority signs. Drivers must use the default priority rules of the country.

Who has priority at an uncontrolled crossroad?

Does the wider road automatically have priority?
