1. 停止線
停止線は、交通標識、信号機、その他の交通制御により停止が求められる場合に、車両が停止すべき位置を示す横方向の路面標示です。通常、交差点、横断歩道、踏切、その他停止が必要となる場所の手前に設けられます。
停止が必要な場合、運転者は停止線の手前で停止し、車両の一部が停止線の先の区域を塞がないようにします。停止線の外観と正確な法的意味は国によって異なります。

A stop line is a transverse road marking showing the position where vehicles must stop when required by a traffic sign, signal or other traffic control.
Where are stop lines commonly used?
Stop lines are commonly found at traffic lights, stop signs, railway crossings and intersections where drivers may be required to stop.
Where should you stop when there is a stop line?
When stopping is required, you should normally stop before the line and avoid crossing or blocking it unless the applicable traffic rules allow you to proceed.
