A no parking sign indicates that parking is prohibited in the indicated area, meaning you are not allowed to leave your vehicle stationary for an extended time. However, stopping briefly is still allowed, for example to pick up or drop off passengers or goods, as long as the vehicle is not left unattended and the stop is short.
