I find this a bit confusing! Eventually, should we give way or not when we see this sign?! I know about this sign but this Cross in the sign is really confusing.

Yes, it means the crossroad is uncontrolled and you must give way to the right. In the example below: The red car has to give way to the green car. The blue car has to give way to the red car. So the green car may enter the crossroad first.
