7. 歩道

歩道は、主に歩行者の通行を目的とした通路または道路の一部です。道路沿い、公園や住宅地内、または自動車道路から独立して設置されることがあります。

歩道が歩行者専用の場合もあれば、自転車など他の許可された利用者との共用通路の一部である場合もあります。進入、優先関係、利用可能者は、その通路に適用される標識と現地規則によって決まります。

Is a footpath the same as a pavement?
