1. Fatigue

Fatigue is a state of physical and mental tiredness that reduces a driver’s alertness, reaction time, and concentration, making driving dangerous and unpredictable. It can be caused by lack of sleep, long driving periods, or monotonous road conditions.

  • Risk of falling asleep at the wheel and delayed reaction time.
  • Avoid driving when sleep-deprived and stop driving if you feel tired.
  • Fresh air or coffee may help briefly, but are not solutions.
