医薬品は、処方薬でも市販薬でも運転能力へ影響することがあります。眠気、めまい、かすみ目、集中力低下、反応遅延、協調運動や判断の低下を引き起こすものがあります。説明書を読み、処方用量を守り、安全に運転できるか不明なら医師や薬剤師へ相談します。新しい薬を始める、用量を変更する、複数薬やアルコールと併用する場合は特に注意します。
Can medication affect driving?
Yes. Some medicines can cause drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, slower reactions or reduced concentration, which can make driving unsafe.
Can prescription medicine make you unsafe to drive?
Yes. A medicine can be legally prescribed and still impair your ability to drive safely. Follow the instructions provided by your doctor, pharmacist and patient information leaflet.
