1. Glovebox

The glovebox (also called a glove compartment) is a small storage compartment located in the dashboard, usually on the passenger side of a vehicle. It’s commonly used to store important documents and small personal items. The glovebox is a handy little storage spot in your car’s dash—perfect for keeping essentials and paperwork safe, accessible, and out of sight.

  • Common Uses for the Glovebox:
    • Vehicle registration and insurance papers.
    • Owner’s manual.
    • Maps or a flashlight.
    • Tire pressure gauge.
    • Gloves (hence the name—especially in older vehicles).
    • Phone chargers, GPS or small tools.
