1. Glovebox
The glovebox (also called a glove compartment) is a small storage compartment located in the dashboard, usually on the passenger side of a vehicle. It’s commonly used to store important documents and small personal items. The glovebox is a handy little storage spot in your car’s dash—perfect for keeping essentials and paperwork safe, accessible, and out of sight.
- Common Uses for the Glovebox:
- Vehicle registration and insurance papers.
- Owner’s manual.
- Maps or a flashlight.
- Tire pressure gauge.
- Gloves (hence the name—especially in older vehicles).
- Phone chargers, GPS or small tools.
