A concrete step barrier is a concrete vehicle-restraint barrier with a stepped or sloping face profile. It is used along roads or in central reservations to contain and redirect vehicles that leave their intended path and to reduce the risk of entering opposing traffic or reaching dangerous roadside hazards.
