79. 消防車

消防車は、消防・救助機関が消防士、消火設備、救助設備、水を火災、衝突事故、その他の緊急現場へ運ぶため使用する緊急車両です。消火、救助、高所作業など用途別にさまざまな種類があります。

緊急出動中は警光灯とサイレンを使用し、優先権や一部交通規則の例外が認められる場合があります。他の道路利用者は緊急車両に関する現地規則に従い、十分な空間を空け、通行を妨げないようにします。

What is a fire truck?

A fire truck is an emergency vehicle used by firefighters to respond to fires, collisions, rescues and other emergencies. It may carry firefighters, water, ladders and specialised rescue equipment.

When does a fire truck have priority?

This depends on the local traffic laws and emergency signals being used. Fire trucks responding to urgent incidents commonly use flashing warning lights and a siren to indicate that other road users must make way.

What should you do when a fire truck approaches?
