交通取締カメラは、交通違反を検出する自動または遠隔操作のカメラシステムです。システムにより速度測定、赤信号無視の検出、ナンバー読み取り、その他の禁止行為監視などを行います。1地点で測定するものと、区間取締りのように長い距離の平均速度を測るものがあります。使用されるカメラ、検出可能な違反、取締手順は国によって異なります。
