3. 自動車専用道路

自動車専用道路は、一般道路より高い速度で通過交通を効率よく流すことを目的とした道路です。多くの場合、アクセスが制限され、複数車線、分離車道、立体交差を備えますが、設計や法的扱いは国によって異なります。
