85. Horse riding

Horse riding includes activities involving horses and riders. In road traffic, an equestrian or horse rider may use roads, bridleways or specially designated routes, depending on the rules and infrastructure provided.

Drivers approaching horses and riders should reduce speed, leave sufficient space and avoid sudden noise or movements that could frighten the animal. Riders must also follow the traffic rules that apply to them.
