1. Tires
A tire (or tyre in British English) is a rubber covering that fits around a vehicle’s wheel and provides traction, support, and cushioning between the vehicle and the road.
- Provides grip on the road for acceleration, braking, and turning.
- Supports the weight of the vehicle and its passengers.
- Absorbs shocks from bumps and rough surfaces.
- Helps maintain fuel efficiency and handling.
- Common Types of Tires:
- All-season tires – for year-round use in mild climates.
- Winter/snow tires – for improved traction on snow and ice.
- Summer/performance tires – for better handling in warm, dry conditions.
- Off-road or all-terrain tires – for trucks/SUVs used on rugged surfaces.
- Run-flat tires – can still be driven on for a short distance after a puncture.
