1. Rickshaw

A rickshaw is a small, light, three-wheeled vehicle used to carry passengers, usually for short-distance travel. It can be pulled, pedaled, or motorized, and is a popular form of local transport in many parts of Asia, Africa, and some cities around the world.

  • Types of Rickshaws:
    • Hand-pulled Rickshaw - Pulled by a person on foot (traditional style, rare today).
    • Cycle Rickshaw - Pedaled like a bicycle with a passenger seat in the back.
    • Auto Rickshaw (Tuk-tuk) - Motorized version, runs on fuel or electricity, common in cities.
    • Electric Rickshaw (E-rickshaw) - Battery-powered, eco-friendly, and increasingly popular.
  • Rickshaw Drivers Must:
    • Have a valid license or permit.
    • Follow traffic signals, signs and drive safely and responsibly.
    • Avoid overloading (only carry allowed number of passengers).
    • Keep the vehicle in good condition.
